GTA 6 has a release period. Publisher Take-Two has now announced when the action game will be launched.
On May 17th, Take-Two’s financial call was held, during which the company disclosed the current state of affairs for investors, but also for general transparency. This involves price forecasts, the current financial situation, but of course also upcoming projects and how they will affect the value of the company. And with this call, GTA 6 has now received a release window.
These forecasts and statistics are made by Take-Two primarily for investors. So that they not only know who they have invested in, but also to attract potential new investors. And so these forecasts add up to the calculated balance sheet for the year 2025 and the beginning of 2026. In which the currently running projects are taken into account and the estimated profits they will bring.
GTA 6 will be released in late 2024 or early 2025

This report also clearly talks about the GTA franchise. Just like Red Dead Redemption and various mobile games from the subsidiary Zynga. But the upcoming “continuation of the main series in the GTA franchise” (as it is called there) means that it is in good development and is therefore already taken into account for this balance sheet. Mathematically, for GTA 6 this means a release window of late 2024 or early 2025 to be relevant for this report.
In addition to the numerous financial updates, the increasing number of players, both in GTA Online and Red Dead Redemption, some other projects that are in the works at Take-Two have been named. Among other things, the Max Payne games are to receive a remake, in cooperation between the developers of the games and Rockstar. But I think the most important factor for you out there will probably be the GTA 6 release window.
